Workshops at Palais des Vaches

Those who can recall a painting demo by Kim Thompson might be interested in this new venture she is developing along with Stewart Beckett. She writes:

“The Palais des Vaches has developed over the last few years to house an extensive and changing collection of work by local artists. The once derelict farm buildings have been transformed into two beautiful exhibition spaces, a sculpture garden, courtyard and shop and the venue is gradually becoming a space for art events throughout the year. Located on the coast, just beyond Exbury Gardens, it is a really unique setting with lovely walks and views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight.

This year is the first year of offering workshops at the Palais so we are eager to get the word out to artists who would like to come and paint in a beautiful location, surrounded by inspiring artwork. We have a big, spacious gallery to work in and these will be fun days to learn and experiment with acrylics, oils and watercolours whether you are a beginner or a more experienced painter. All materials and equipment are supplied for the day. Just come along and paint.”
