Demo: Gill Drew - Texture and Layers in Acrylic and Mixed Media

Gill’s background in textiles was very much apparent in her approach to building a painting. She demonstrated how adding layers can produce a rich tapestry in both texture and colour and affords the opportunity to pare back using sandpaper to either change the impact to create subtlety or reveal interesting depths.
