Coach Trip to London: The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

Bournemouth Arts Club, Poole and East Dorset Art Society and Broadstone Art Society have joined to together to organise a coach trip to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on Sunday, 22nd June.

Simon Merry, who is organising, writes:

Dear Everyone,

BAC, PEDAS and BAS are partnering to arrange a trip to London on Sunday 22nd June to visit the RA Summer Show and/or any other attraction of choice. The cost of the coach is £25 (includes tip for the driver) and spaces are available on a ‘first come’ basis. Guests are welcome at the same price.

Participants will be able to plan their own day including choosing to visit the RA for the Summer Show in its first week. Tickets should be purchased in advance and are £23 (plus optional donation) although some members may be RA friends or have another concession.

Tickets have a timed entry and we should arrive at the RA by 1100. The coach has toilet facilities and we will stop on the way for a short break.

Approximate coach pick-up times (to be confirmed) and points will be:

08.00 - Whitecliff Park, Whitecliff Road (off Sandbanks Road), Poole, BH14 8DU. (Pay car park and some road parking available)

08.30 – Outside Iceland, Victoria Road, Ferndown. BH22 9HU (Car parking is free at Tesco according to the internet)

10:45 - Arrive at the RA

16.00 - Depart from the RA

19.00 - Arrive at Ferndown and then Whitecliff
