Freeing up the artist - Tutor-led activity with Brigitte Scott-Florek

  • Greyfriars Community Centre Ringwood BH24 1DW (map)

Friday 17th February between 10am and 1pm at Greyfriars Community Centre.

Tutor-led by Brigette Scott-Florek

In this workshop we will explore how to let go of intentions and beliefs how your art "should" be. We will create… and then destroy… and use simple marks to let another image appear! We will use our awareness of how difficult or easy it might be to let go and to create in a different way.

Please bring some of your old paintings and drawings, even a precious one to transform. Brigitte will provide scissors, paper, glue and some art materials such as charcoal, pastels and acrylic paints – but you could also bring your own. Be prepared to be brave, have fun and discover a new freedom in your art!

This activity is free of charge as there will not be an evening demonstration in February. Results from the society’s survey showed that some members would prefer daytime club events to evening, so the society plans to offer a mixture for 2023.
