RAS Auction Fundraiser for Ukraine

We have all been distressed by the news from Ukraine. After the last committee meeting, Andy Redwood contacted the Mayor of Ringwood, Councillor Tony Ring to find out what fundraising was already taking place in Ringwood. He directed us to the Love Ukraine Group which is working with a number of local organisations to offer support to those fleeing the conflict.

We decided to run a silent auction from our website. Andy Redwood is co-ordinating. We are asking RAS members to donate artworks as auction lots. The auction will run for a month and allow the general public to submit bids for your artwork. £7.00 will be added to all winning bids to cover postage unless the item is collected in person. Any unsold work will be returned to the contributing artist. All of the proceeds will go to Love Ukraine.

If you have an artwork that you would like to donate, please email us with the following details by Tuesday, 31st May:

• type of work (ceramic, sculpture, painting etc.)

• medium

• title

• size of the work (tell us if it is framed/mounted)

Let us know if you can deliver your item to club night on Monday, 20th June, or if you need us to collect it.
