Plein Air: The White Buck, Burley

Outside the weather is bitter cold, the clouds threatening the snow that does fall later that day. Inside, our artists gather around the fireside over which looms a stag’s head. Scattered around the room, in comfortable leather armchairs, with cops of coffee and generous slices of cake, our artists capture the scene - the only sound is the crackling of the fire and the scribble of pencils.

We did work hard.

We enjoyed it so much, we’re going back next month…

Many thanks to the folks at the White Buck for their cheerful hospitality.
